Parametrical neural network based on the four-wave mixing process
We develop a formalism allowing us to describe operating of a network based on the parametrical four-wave mixing process that is well-known in nonlinear optics. It is shown that the storage capacity of such a network is higher compared with the Potts-glass neural networks. r 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
متن کاملA neural mass model of CA1-CA3 neural network and studying sharp wave ripples
We spend one third of our life in sleep. The interesting point about the sleep is that the neurons are not quiescent during sleeping and they show synchronous oscillations at different regions. Especially sharp wave ripples are observed in the hippocampus. Here, we propose a simple phenomenological neural mass model for the CA1-CA3 network of the hippocampus considering the spike frequency adap...
متن کاملCompeting four-wave mixing processes in dispersion oscillating telecom fiber.
We experimentally study the dynamics of the generation of multiple sidebands by means of a quasi-phase-matched four-wave mixing (FWM) process occurring in a dispersion-oscillating, highly nonlinear optical fiber. The fiber under test is pumped by a ns microchip laser operating in the normal average group-velocity dispersion regime and in the telecom C band. We reveal that the growth of higher-o...
متن کاملscour modeling piles of kambuzia industrial city bridge using hec-ras and artificial neural network
today, scouring is one of the important topics in the river and coastal engineering so that the most destruction in the bridges is occurred due to this phenomenon. whereas the bridges are assumed as the most important connecting structures in the communications roads in the country and their importance is doubled while floodwater, thus exact design and maintenance thereof is very crucial. f...
DEVELOPMENT OF NEURAL NETWORK MODELS TO ESTIMATE LATERAL-DISTORTIONAL BUCKLING RESISTANCE OF CELLULAR STEEL BEAMS
The lateral-torsional buckling (LTB) strength of cellular steel girders that were subjected to web distortion was rarely examined. Since no formulation has been presented for predicting the capacity of such beams, in the current paper an extensive numerical investigation containing 660 specimens was modeled using finite element analysis (FEA) to consider the ultimate lateral-distortional buckli...
